Hello, welcome to my blog. My name’s Stephen G. Shaw, and this blog is (hopefully) going to serve as the platform for my writing and general ideas when it comes to my work in philosophy. A few of the things I’m interested in and may be writing about in the future…

• Postmodern philosophy/postmodern Christianity–particularly the work of J.K.A. Smith and others. 
• The work of Soren Kierkegaard–currently, I’m writing a manusript that puts his book Fear and Trembling into plain english, and what sort of implications Kierkegaard has on Christianity today. 
• Pragmatism–right now the majority of my work is centered on pragmatism. I’m presenting a paper at a conference in Chicago this march on the pragmatism of Richard Rorty and C.S. Peirce, so that will probably take up a lot of the initial posts! 
• What I’m reading (always interesting, or so I think).
• General stuff.
